I studied Art History at Aarhus University and Multimedia Design at Aarhus Business Academy. My profile is within mediation of art, curating and graphic design. Amongst other places I have worked at Horsens Kunstmuseum, Statens Museum for Kunst, Sculpture by the Sea and Aarhus Billedkunstcenter. My interests in fine art are broad and lie within old European masters, contemporary art and tendencies throughout the Art History as the aesthetics of the grotesque.

After earning an MA in the History of Art, Design and Visual Culture at University of Alberta in 2014, I became Associate Director and Curator of Special Projects at the non-profit Meridian Gallery in San Francisco, USA. Upon moving to Aarhus in early 2016, I developed AaBKC International, the new platform for international dialog, networking and exchange at Aarhus Center for Visual Art. My past curatorial work has explored shifting conceptions of identity, perception and politicized embodiment. My MA thesis, "Art and Activism in the Age of the 'Obesity Epidemic.," reflects an ongoing interest in art and art-making as catalysts for critical discourse, advocacy, and social change.
